The surgical campaign is underway at Remera-Rukoma District Hospital.

In partnership with Remera-Rukoma District Hospital and Interplast-Germany, an international humanitarian organization specializing in reconstructive surgery, a special surgical campaign is currently underway at the hospital. The campaign began on 18 July 2026 and will continue until 31 July 2026.

The surgical team is providing operations for burn scar contractures, congenital deformities such as extra fingers or toes (polydactyly), skin tumors, and other conditions requiring reconstructive and plastic surgery to restore function and correct congenital or acquired deformities.

The campaign has attracted a large number of patients from districts across the country, and it is progressing successfully.
